Back-to-Back Surgeries on Siblings 

Patients #15885 and #15886 are both orphaned great horned owls that were found in Hickory, NC.  They arrived yesterday morning.  Both had fractures that were repaired early this afternoon.  Patient #15885 had a humerus fracture and Patient #15886 had a tibiotarsus fracture.  The humerus fracture was a more complicated surgery as it was highly contaminated and had dry, dead bone exposed.
